The city of Quirm boasts a functioning zoo, that was happily inspected by Young Sam Vimes in Snuff in his quest to indentify and catalogue every type of animal poo on the Disc.

The zoo has a collection of elephants, who are allowed to swim and play on the beach on nice days.
