Rumoured
Terry has been quoted calling this novel both 'When I Am Old I Shall Wear Midnight' and just 'I Shall Wear Midnight'. The final title will obviously be chosen when the book is written!
The title is loosely based upon the poem "When I Am an Old Woman I Shall Wear Purple " by Jenny Joseph. This is the title that most people would recognise, however it is interesting that the correct title for her poem is "Warning". The most senior and junior witch look set to have interesting times together.
The title is also a capsule of the thought process of the character Tiffany in regards to her wearing colorful clothing despite being a witch.
