I've been wondering if the phrase "going postal" is used in a sense similar to the phrase "going Bursar", do we have any information indicating this or otherwise? --Vsl 19:51, 11 December 2005 (CET)

Actually, that is pretty much its meaning. It can be referenced to an incident in the USA where a postal service member "went postal" and massacred 14 people. (Wikipedia). It has since become a synonym for such a violent phenomenon. There has been a discussion on AFP, where Terry confirmed that he was aware of this meaning. --Jogibaer 21:31, 11 December 2005 (CET)
