Situated in a small guildhouse annoyingly close to Unseen University, the Guild of Conjurers is little more than a club house for jolly, fat men with healthy drinking habits and a tendancy to drop their 'h's. Conjurers are not wizards, a fact that wizards make a point of pointing out, being instead the type of people who shout 'Hey Presto!' a lot, make coins appear in people's ears, and pull rodents out of head ornaments. They seem to be excedingly popular in Ankh-Morpork, and this may be because, to the population of a city where normal things don't happen very often, knowing that something is done by trickery and sleight-of-hand is much more entertaining than boring old magic.

For those for whom English is not their first language, nor English custom particularly customary, the motto means Now That's Magic!, which was the catchphrase of one Paul Daniels, a Roundworld magician and prestidigitator who was seldom off the TV in England during the eighties.
