A troll in the Ankh-Morpork City Watch made Sergeant by Fred Colon during his short and tumultuous reign as Captain of the force. Flint seems considerably less apt at being a sergeant than Detritus is, and it is unclear whether Flint has been able to keep his rank.

In Men at Arms, a Flint is one of two trolls (the other is Moraine) working in the City armoury, who Detritus signs up to the Watch. Could this be the same troll?
