Ham-on-Koom

From Discworld & Pratchett Wiki

Jump to: navigation, search

The human settlement at the mouth of Koom Valley. Acts as a clearing house for bones and remains occassionally thrown up by the river, which are treated with respect until they can be returned to the Trolls and the Dwarfs.

A very good place to go fly-fishing, apparently. The local fountain of law and justice is the magistrate, Mr Waynesbury, whose wife Bunty is a schoolfriend of Sybil Ramkin.
