Father of Nijel the Destroyer and, along with Mrs. Harebut, quite possibly much too indulgent of their son's wishes for his long-term good. A wholesale fruit and vegetable merchant and a very unlikely patronymic for one who aspires to join the ranks of Barbarian heroes.
