Young John Bleedwell was a trainee Assassin at the time of the events of Night Watch. He went on an assignment to assassinate Lord Winder but failed to spot the second guard on the roof and lived up to his name. His fellow trainee, Havelock Vetinari, was rather more effective through a far greater application of what he'd learnt about the Arts of Concealment.
