A brilliant and precise artist, Owlswick Jenkins was arrested for forgery of stamps. He appears not entirely sane, but this helps him be extremely good at his work. He was saved from the gallows by Moist von Lipwig to work on the new paper money under the name of Owlswick Clamp. Currently, Owlswick is missing, presumed dead, because Vetinari says he is.

Owlswick lived and worked in Short Alley until his capture.
