Old Torrit is one of the nomes introduced in Truckers. He is an outsider and used to live together with Grimma, Granny Morkie, and Masklin before they found the store. He used to be the leader of the group before Masklin took over and therefore was responsible for The Thing. However, his main contribution was to complain all the time how much better it was in the old days.

Old Torrit was almost eleven years old (110 years in the nome time-stream) when he died, before the events of Diggers.
