&lt;div&gt;My dictionary says lachrymose means tearful, mournful.  Possibly she used to be before she turned surly.&lt;br /&gt;

Lacrimosa means &#039;weeping, crying&#039; in Latin. It&#039;s a stereotypically pretentious gothic nickname. It suits the vampires&#039; exaggerated style. Also, it makes sense when vampire youth pick mortal names as a part of teenage rebelliousness.&lt;/div&gt;</summary>
