Upon the discovery of one such hole in the University cellars, through which dropped objects vanished without a trace, Weatherwax had a privy installed over it: a decision to be regretted, as the hole was later found to exit into one of the UU attics.

	His tenure as Archchancellor comes to an end during {{TLF}} when he is eaten - having mistakenly summoned [[The Luggage]] instead of [[Rincewind]] - paving the way for Trymon to become Archchancellor.
