Better</p> <p><b>New page</b></p><div>The [[Lancre Caves]] are a series of caves in the mountains near Lancre.<br /> The most notable of these caves has at its entrance what is most likely to be a &#039;&#039;simulacrum&#039;&#039;, or naturally occurring statue, of a witch with water coming off her nose and forming a long hooked stalactite. However, some observers have noticed a resemblance between the statue and [[Granny Weatherwax]]&#039;s grandmother, who disappeared one day walking off into the wilds.<br /> <br /> The caves are accessed by crossing the notorious [[Gnarly Ground]] in the correct manner.
