I don't know, though, try dripping water onto some caesium sometime... or bringing together two sub-critical masses of Uselessium (you know, the one where you have to cook up tons of ore. This is the stuff that loony Leonard of Quirm thought could be of great benefit in mining and civil engineering, if you ever needed to move a mountain. ), or for something less terminal, heat up some pure magnesium. It's probably hard to find the right sequence of events - the correct things to do to a metal to make it explode - but, once discovered, never forgotten, provided you live, of course!

Any alkali metal will at least burn when exposed to water and they are often stored in gasoline to lower exposure to water vapor in the air. --Confusion 20:18, 19 November 2011 (CET)
