			Just had a quick look at the fanfiction and look forward to a good read come the end of May when exams are out the way - have to have a lot of self-control with Discworld stuff as I have a habit of not stopping reading once I've started.

			Here's something else that might be of interest: the historic decks featured 3 other cards in the Major Arcana, lost to modern works: [http://brbl-dl.library.yale.edu/vufind/Record/3432603 Faith], [http://brbl-dl.library.yale.edu/vufind/Record/3432604 Hope] and [http://brbl-dl.library.yale.edu/vufind/Record/3432620 Charity] (and oh dear, going back to our conversation on the [[Hell]] talk page, it seems even Charity's getting into the breast baring habit - can't help but wonder if theres some kind of dare or something going on among various supernatural entities). Medieval decks also featured female knights and pages - Have a look at the [http://beinecke.library.yale.edu/collections/highlights/visconti-tarot Visconti Tarot] - one of the oldest surviving Tarot decks known dating from the 15th Century (showing the cards, at least, are not a modern contrivance!)

I got as far as illustrating all the Major Arcana cards with (mainly) Discworld charcters and scenarios, and a small clutch of the minors, and then it stalled. The Connolly sketch opens up sudden new ideas (NacMacFeegle may not be far away - I see a Kelda laying down the cards for somebody). You may find my scribble of interest. Thanks again! 			Glad to be of help (must admit that's made my day!) and am currently working out my own set. Without wanting to give too much away I am thinking of a Ankh-Morpork centered deck including a suit with Crime & Punishment including the Hangman (rather than the hanged man - quite a different matter - shame the suits don't go up to 10), 2 of Kicked to Death in a Dark Alley, 3 of Knife in the face and 4 of Smack in the mouth - it's too big an idea to miss.

			Just need to learn to draw well (which is a long term goal anyway). Who knows, If ever I do manage to make the deck I might share it.

The joke about pulling out multiple Death cards has occurred elsewhere in the Multiverse: In Father Ted (Series 1, Episode 1 - Good Luck Father Ted -at around 18:44 of [http://www.channel4.com/programmes/father-ted/4od#3404504 this video]) Ted visits a fortune teller and draw's the Death card three times - to the shock of the fortune teller and Ted.

Billy Connolly also comments on the Tarot and supernatural (negatively, but even I - who must admit an interest in Tarot, incense, essential oils, herbs, crystals and the various versions of [[Headology]] that exist on the roundworld - cannot take offense and find it very funny) in [https://www.youtube.com/embed/EjMsswUuwTA?t=1h33m3s this video] (Warning strong language and views that [[Reg Shoe|Reg]] would disagree with from the start of this clip). He jokes about the 'Ten of Hangmens' ('Is that bad?' 'Does it sound [[-ing]] good to you?'), the 'Three of knife in the face, the 'Two of kicked to death in a dark alley', the 'Four of smack in the mouth' ('Ah you've got a full house here.'). Can't help but think he's refering to the Caroc: Ankh-Morpork Edition. Billy goes on to refer to [http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Steven_Wright Steven Wright] once playing solitaire with Tarot Cards ('Five guys died') and jokes about 'pool reading' (like reading teacups but bigger) - which I wouldn't be surprised to find happening on the disc. In another show Billy calls the Tarot '-ing primitive'.
