''Tituef'' can be best described as the sort of character ''Dennis the Menace'' might have been were he to have been born French: the school bad boy and rogue and leader of a juvenile gang. Like DtM, he originated as a print cartoon comic book, and was later animated. I describe it as "odd" because the pre-adolescent kids in this show are allowed a degree of sexual awareness that would never be permitted in Britain in a million years - maybe social attitudes are far more relaxed over there. (Or perhaps one of those kids' shows where adult-orientated jokes are slyly inserted for the benefit of the parents). Anyway, the school nurse at Tituef's school is drawn as a rather sexualised character who stops conversation among the lads when she walks past: whole story arcs are constructed around fictitious ailments created so as to get an opportunity to be up close and personal to her.
