I was thinking of the statement concerning Howondaland being the larger of the two proto-continents on the Disc, and mentally comparing that to the picture on the Mapp of the "modern" continent being only about a quarter of the size of the Central Continent, about the same size as Agatea alone. Something's out of proportion here, but then I've always suspected that... then again, mediaeval maps of Africa always show it a lot smaller than it actually is, even before bringing Mercator into play. Incidentally, what would the Discworld system of navigation be? Latitude and longitude might not work on a flat earth...--[[User:AgProv|AgProv]] 02:29, 7 November 2011 (CET)
