It could be a very tenuous link, but I've just been watching BBC's Dickensian and seen and realised there's a character called "Inspector Bucket" who originated in Bleak House. A policeman called Bucket and a pub favoured by Watchmen called "The Bucket"... a connection/inspiration perhaps?<br />
