Alice, also known as Princess, is the little girl who unofficially works on Tower 181 alongside Grandad and the lads. She appears in Going Postal as a serious-minded young lady who knows at least as much about running a clacks tower as the professionals.

Real world allusions

The name has some minor resonance with the cryptography explanation Alice and Bob.
