The point beyond which ox-driven paddlewheeled river boats cannot go is not specified, but from context in The Compleat Discworld Atlas appears to be not far Hubwards beyond Piper's Holding, where Zoon river barges coming down river from the Overhangs and distant Zemphis take over the river traffic.
