Dimity Hubbub is a clumsy witch apprentice. Her first appearance is in A Hat Full of Sky when she accidentally sets her hat on fire. She often attends Annagramma Hawkin's séances in the woods. Annagramma is not best pleased when she stands on the Circlet of Infinity with the genuine seed-pearls on it. Dimity is seen in Wintersmith mixing up ingredients for a toothache cure with a mortar and pestle. This promptly catches fire and explodes, and she reconsiders the wisdom of anyone putting it in their mouth.
