The Colour of Magic has been the name of two different games based on Terry Pratchett's first Discworld novel. The other was a mobile game released in 2006.

Released in 1986 'The Colour of Magic' was the first ever Discworld based game to be produced. The game was developed by Delta 4 and published by Piranha for the ZX Spectrum, Commodore 64 and Amstrad CPC. The game is a text adventure with the plot based on The Colour of Magic and The Light Fantastic. The game was later re-released slightly remade by Alternative Software in 1987 and a third time as a part of the collection ZX Files Megatape 2 in 1997.

Blurb

A Delta 4 Adventure based on 'The Colour of Magic' by Terry Pratchett.

Enter the extraordinary Discworld, set on a turtle's back. Meet naive, four eyed Twoflower, the Discworlds first Tourist blessed with more money than sense. You are Rincewind, a youthful wizard, faced with the miserable task of guiding the ridiculous Twoflower as he wends his blundering way. Wherever you go, the many legged Luggage will be sure to follow. Meanwhile Death, rather weary from overwork, has a few surprises in store for you...
