Humptulip

Humptulip is a wizard about whom we know little. However, we can assume an obsessive mind in anyone who can write 2000 pages on how to kill insects.

Annotation

Roundworld has a river and locality called Humptulips, in Washington (the state, not DC) in the USA. Ankh-Morpork has something in common with Seattle (Seattle is somewhat near Humptulips and the Humptulips River): sidewalks that have at times been far below the street pavements, so a wizard with a name similar to somewhere in Washington is not all that surprising.
