Kvetch are a species mentioned by Captain Carrot in Night Watch, they are native to Mouldavia.

Kvetch are described as hairy and living deep within the forest. Captain Vimes states that they would learn more about them when asked by Vetinari (forced then) to employ one in the City Watch.
