Nhumrod

Brother Nhumrod is a master of the novices at the Citadel in Omnia. He appears in Small Gods as Brutha's teacher (Novice Master). His name is a pun on "numb rod", as he finds sexual excitement sinful, though he is often tempted by sexual visions. These visions may have had something to do with children as Om called him something that he would have thought had to do with feet (pederast)

Biblically, on Roundworld, Nimrod was a Judge over Israel and "a mighty hunter before the Lord". Although how a man as ineffectual as this could be a mighty hunter before anything...
