Peter Dennis was born in 1950. Inspired by contemporary magazines such as Look and Learn he studied illustration at Liverpool Art College. While primarily a military and historical illustrator, he prides himself on the wide scope and variety of commissions he has taken on. One of his latest works has been the black and whte sketch-style illustrations done for Sir Terry Pratchett's ''[[Book:The World of Poo|The World of Poo]]''. His association with the Discworld continues: as well as illustrating the ''Ankh-Morpork Boardgame'', he has most recently illustrated [[Book:Mrs Bradshaw's Handbook|Mrs Bradshaw's Handbook]].
