Ronald Carney is the former editor of the Ankh-Morpork Inquirer and current President of the Engravers' Guild, following the events of The Truth. He spent the formative playtimes of his early childhood by being beaten about the head with a toy cow by Sacharissa Cripslock. One day she hit him so hard one of the legs fell off.
