Sulien Heddwyn

A senior Dwarf and a member of the inner council advising the Low King. A fat-miner normally found underneath the Schmaltzberg excavating parts of the fifth elephant, he is not happy with the Grag Ardent, who is speaking for the Deep-Downers in council. In fact, he threatens to excavate parts of Ardent with his mining tool if certain insinuations concerning Sulien's entitlement to full Dwarf status are not retracted, pronto.

Annotation

Hedd Wyn is the name of a Welsh-language poet on Roundworld. (deceased 1917) Sulien was the bishop of St David's in the late eleventh century.
