It may well not be Reaperman. Death tries to get drunk a couple of times. Anyone know better?

It's Mort. Death was about to try some when the landlord decided he'd had enough (forty-seven, actually). --Old Dickens 23:34, 26 November 2009 (UTC)

"One of Sally von Humpeding's long list of middle names is Amanita. Does this give a clue as to an Überwaldian origin for this drink?"

Well, Amanita Muscaria, the fly agaric, is a sort of toxic mushroom which the Marquis de Sade, for one, considered to be an aphrodisiac. It actually increases blood pressure and heartbeat and too much will kill - it has the same effect, ultimately, as strychnine or deadly nightshade (belladonna).

If absinthe is very strong alcohol fortified with wormwood, Amanita could be a liquer fortified with fly agaric extract. --AgProv 20:25, 26 November 2009 (UTC)
