Trymon Archchanceller?

If Ymper Trymon killed Galder Weatherwax, who was Archchancellor at the time of The Light Fantastic, would this have (briefly) made Trymon Archchancellor? It suggests so in Trymon's article. It's not like there was any official ceremony, but the tradition of Dead Men's Pointy Shoes could count... JaffaCakeLover 16:53, 16 January 2009 (UTC)

Not only by pointy shoes, in Sourcery in mentions them being chosen every year (although this custom seems to have stopped, it now only happens when an Archchancellor dies).--Confusion (talk) 08:05, 1 January 2014 (GMT)
