:Apparently. So says her page and she was a sergeant in {{UA}}. (If you use the signature tool at the top, or four tildes, we can see the time and date and reply easily.)  --[[User:Old Dickens|Old Dickens]] ([[User talk:Old Dickens|talk]]) 19:56, 1 February 2018 (UTC)

This seems to be pure speculation. --Old Dickens 21:44, 9 September 2008 (UTC)

Not even a little bit of speculation
Terry has told us several times of the title, some plot outlines and the fact that this will be the last Tiffany Aching book

Timed Release

I Shall Wear Midnight release 2 Sep in the U.K. and in Australia, 28 Sep in the U.S. and 28 Oct in Canada. Why do they hate us? --Old Dickens 17:11, 15 August 2010 (UTC)
I checked: it's a $4.34(CDN) premium to have it shipped from Amazon(UK), or slightly cheaper than having it shipped from Amazon.ca. Americans might consider this option as well. --Old Dickens 20:28, 15 August 2010 (UTC)
Sorry; I checked badly. There are two shipping charges, so it's a $9-10 premium. --Old Dickens 23:58, 18 August 2010 (UTC)

Angua is a captain now

Does anyone know when Angua was promoted to captain? As far as I can tell, her rank changed in this book, but maybe I've overlooked something. --Wonderful Fanny

Apparently. So says her page and she was a sergeant in Unseen Academicals. (If you use the signature tool at the top, or four tildes, we can see the time and date and reply easily.) --Old Dickens (talk) 19:56, 1 February 2018 (UTC)

Just a thought

This dialogue sounds more like Vetinari than Carrot to me, despite the reference to soap:

“I am Captain Carrot, and since I am the duty officer this evening, the doubtful pleasure of dealing with this incident falls to me, and so . . .” He opened his notebook, pulled out a pencil, and gave them a confident smile. “Who is going to be the first to help me unravel this little conundrum? To begin with, I would very much like to know what a bunch of Nac Mac Feegle are doing in my city, apart from recovering?” The glint off his armor hurt the eyes. And also he smelled strongly of soap, and that was good enough for Tiffany... Wonderful Fanny (talk) 17:53, 2 February 2018 (UTC)
