:Accounts vary: IMDB says "He collapsed and died on-stage at The Roses Theatre in Tewkesbury in May 1984, watched by his wife", others have him various distances toward the wings. We may not know without film or an eye-witness. Accounts vary: IMDB says "He collapsed and died on-stage at The Roses Theatre in Tewkesbury in May 1984, watched by his wife", others have him various distances toward the wings.
