Is a broom ridden with the bristles pointing behind or in front of the rider?


Well, every account and image I've been able to access suggests the bristle end goes at the back....--AgProv 20:38, 10 June 2011 (CEST)

Also safer on landing, if you when you land you have the rear touching the ground first, it would be safer to have bristles that give hitting the ground rather than the stiff handle part.
