The spelling Necrotelecomnicon appears frequently on the internet, but the only respectable sources I have come across are Wikipedia (US) and Daibhid Ceanaideach in one mention in 2004 on AFP (these may be the same: David contributes to Wikipedia.) Leo Breebaart, Stephen Briggs, and Terry Pratchett use "i", and I suggest the last carries more weight than anyone. I can't find Necrotelecomnicon anywhere in the canon or the "official" commentary such as the Companion. References I have found are :

  • The Light Fantastic ...Some may talk of the Necrotelicomnicon, (Corgi PB p.13 , Harper PB p.5)
  • Equal Rites ...the hideous old dark gods of the Necrotelicomnicon (Harper PB p.112)
  • Moving Pictures ...Necrotelicomnicon Discussed for Students (Corgi PB p.33)
  • Sourcery ...the first edition of the Necrotelicomnicon (Corgi PB p.16)
  • The New DW Companion ...Article Necrotelicomnicon p.173

Then you have my apologies. The only source I have right now is memory. I was going to check this when I got home on Saturday. Cortle Steeze 10:55, 29 November 2006 (CET)

For those who don't check the recent changes: Page has been moved and spelling has been changed. --Death 12:22, 29 November 2006 (CET)
  • This just in: later in The Light Fantastic, Cohen rescues a copy of the Necrotelecomnicon (sic) from the Star People. Inconsistency remains consistent.--Old Dickens 19:46, 11 February 2007 (CET)
    • And, to be a pain, On p210 of the Corgi PB version of Equal Rites, we have Simon's explanation to Esk of why she shouldn't magical books unpreparedly with the example of the wizard who let his mind wander whilst reading the Necrotelecomnicon.--Knmatt 17:43, 20 November 2010 (CET)
I could argue that, as an ancient Discworld text, the book probably has optional spelling 8-). Seriously, if Pterry usually calls it the Necrotelicomnicon, then by definition he's right, and the fact he's misspelled it once merely proves he's human. The Wikipedia article is probably my fault, and I'll change it forthwith. Daibhid C 02:59, 9 October 2007 (CEST)

Necrotelecomnicon in Good Omens page 390. Also it mentions Liber Paginarum Fulvarum as a separate book on the same page, as in "the Necrotelecomnicon or the Liber Pagarum Fulvarum or his old favorite, the Malles Malleficarum". --Confusion 17:41, 24 November 2011 (CET)

But Necrotelicomnicon and it as same as Liber Paginarum Fulvarum on page 112 Equal Rites American version "of the Necrotelicomnicon, the book known to certain mad adepts by its true name of Liber Paginarum Fulvarum"--Confusion 04:52, 18 December 2011 (CET)

Newest edit: Necrotelicomnicon vs Liber Paginarum Fulvarum

According to the Discworld Companion Liber Paginarum Fulvarum is just another name for this book. --Death 09:06, 27 April 2007 (CEST)

According to everybody, I thought. --Old Dickens 13:39, 27 April 2007 (CEST)

"Everybody" now including this researcher. Correction made. Apologies. --AgProv 14:00, 27 April 2007 (CEST)

"The title is probally not Necrotelicomnicon or Liber Paginarium Fulvarum otherwise it would be stated as such"? Several places where it's stated are listed above. It's probably 'probably', too. --Old Dickens 15:35, 20 November 2011 (CET)

I said Necrotelicomnicon or Liber Paginarium Fulvarum. The OR being in italics is important. One name seems to take priority over the other. It's just not sure what. Or it has another name, which we're not told... Marmosetpower 15:01, 18 December 2011 (CET)

You could reinstall the point in clearer form, but did anyone ever think the title included "or"? I assumed Liber Paginarum Fulvarum was the Latatian description of the older Ephebian-derived title. We haven't heard a Klatchian title: it would be in strange curly writing, probably. --Old Dickens 16:08, 18 December 2011 (CET)
