I thought technomantic devices were products of Thaumatological Park like the Dis-organiser. The article points out that the Dwarvish discoveries might be older than the Disc itself, let alone technomancy. They're apparently magical, in that they defy quantum, but wizards don't seem to have been involved in their production or even understand them. --Old Dickens 20:46, 11 June 2010 (UTC)

The Dwarvish discoveries could be classed as examples of Big Dumb Objects. The Axles at least remind me of a scene in Alastair Reynold's Pushing Ice. --Megahurts 11:55, 20 October 2010 (CEST)
