Note that in the Ankh-Morpork map app, the watch house has not been restored for the police. Instead, it has become a mercantile establishment owned by dwarfs. This app is based on the book, The Compleat Ankh-Morpork, but not exactly the same.--Wonderful Fanny (talk) 18:00, 5 February 2018 (UTC)

The watch house is at the corner of Silver Street, but that's also the junction of Cable just across the road. It is on the Silver Street side. Prior to The Compleat Ankh-Morpork, Silver Street had no name. --Old Dickens (talk) 21:35, 5 February 2018 (UTC)

Yes, I see that now. Cable Street and Silver Street share a junction with Treacle Mine Road. My mistake. Cable is correct. But still, on the app there is no new watch house. The site of the old watch house has become a hostelry-pub, called the Treacle Miners. The app map is incorrect. Hopefully the book is correct. --Wonderful Fanny (talk) 22:07, 5 February 2018 (UTC)

The Compleat Ankh-Morpork says The Treacle Miners pub is on the site of the old night watch house, but shows it turnwise of the corner it occupied. The old watch house was said to have been two buildings from the original treacle mine; the pub seems to occupy a part (retaining some of the ancient machinery) on the turnwise end. --Old Dickens (talk) 16:26, 6 February 2018 (UTC)
Oh, that's fine then. Thanks. --Wonderful Fanny (talk) 19:44, 6 February 2018 (UTC)
