A gibbet is similar to a gallows but was used to hang the dead bodies on public display.

A gibbet was once clamped by Fred Colon.

In Feet of Clay it is revealed that wooden dummies are hung on gibbets.

The Gibbet is, in particular, a location in Dimwell, Ankh-Morpork, where Nonesuch Street meets Mollymog Street, at the hubwise-by-widdershins corner of Hide Park.
