Urn is an Ephebian philosopher, who appears in Small Gods, and works for his uncle Didactylos. He is of a more practical turn than his uncle, sometimes causing friction between the two.

Urn has an interest in mathematics, mechanics and physics, and was the inventor of the Discworld's first combustion engine, which he installed on short-lived The Unnamed Boat.
