'''Beano''' is a clown in [[Ankh-Morpork]]'s [[Fools' Guild]]. He knew [[Boffo (Clown)|Boffo]], and was killed by [[Edward d'Eath]] in {{MAA}} in order to steal his identity. His funeral is shown, but his body is found later on in a sewer called  the "[[Cloaca Maxima]]". It was of course d'Eath.

On [[Roundworld]], ''{{wp|The_Beano|The Beano}}'' is a long-running comic (started in 1938), with some hugely memorable characters. It takes its name from a "beano", colloquial English (well, in the '30s, at least) for a good time, usually a day out, a variation of 'beanfeast'.
