Proceeding on from [[Amper Sands]], this marks the furthest point Rimwards that a casual walker can easily reach on the Ankh bank of the river. [[Linnet Dock]] marks the beginning of the dockyards which now run Rimwards almost to the [[River Gate]].

The name is not a million miles removed from that of French Revolutionary leader Maximilian Robespierre.
