Chaffinch

Chaffinch wrote Ancient and Classical Mythology, a book which does exactly what it says on the tin. It is the seminal work on the ancient mythologies of the primitive and classical peoples of the Discworld.

The Roundworld reference is to Thomas Bullfinch who is most famous for writing Bulfinch's Mythology, an 1881 compilation of his previous works:
