The looming hill that broods over Blackbury. In May 1941, an observation post was set up here to watch and listen for German bombers.

More evidence for Blackbury being somewhere in the North of England: the towns of Blackburn, Burnley, Nelson and Colne are all overshadowed by the brooding mass of Pendle Hill. There were famous witches here too, btw.
