The Extremely Rev. Dr A-Pox-Upon-Their-Houses Jenkins teaches Religious Studies at the Assassins' Guild.

Although he is of Omnian persuasion, the Rev. Jenkins is a practitioner of many other religions and says that he is quite happy to believe anything. A speciality subject of his is hand-to-hand Smiting - not just hip and thigh, but at many little-known bones and muscles.

He appears in the Assassin's Diary where he is listed as one of the current tutors for the guild.

In his photo for the guild yearbook, the good Rev. Jenkins looks very strict and gives an appearance of barely suppressed fury. He wears the Omnian turtle pendant from a chain around his neck an has a while dog-collar showing his status. He could be over fifty years old and has a mass of curly white hair. He wears black in-keeping with both the practices of assassins and Omnian priests.

Annotation

Rev. Jenkins looks a lot like a younger version of Father Jack Hackett from the Channel 4 TV series 'Father Ted'. It was set on the fictional Craggy Island off the coast of Ireland where Fathers Ted, Dougle and Jack lived together. Father Jack Hackett, played by Frank Kelly, is an elderly, decrepit, foul-mouthed, alcoholic priest who frequently lapses into violent behaviour, particularly when his fellow clergy deny him drink or try removing him from his armchair, where he is usually found sleeping.

If this is the case, Rev. Jenkins seems to have stayed off the drink, but has clearly held onto much of the anger.

His name would be derived from the Shakespeare play Romeo & Juliet, from the dying words of Mercutio, who curses both the Montagues and Capulets, crying "a plague on both your houses!"
