Klatchian is the national language of the country of Klatch and is presumably also spoken on the Hubwards side of the continent of Klatch, in countries such as Hersheba and Tsort, as Klatch is one of the major countries and trading empires of the continent.

Klatchian is probably approximate to Arabic, as Klatch itself is a Discworld version of Roundworld's Middle East (as well as North Africa and the Indian sub-continent). Where it is spoken in the canon, it is written in a script-like font to differentiate it. Little else is known about the language, apart from the fact that it is said to be very ancient and thus very sophisticated in its development.

While it is one of the most widely spoken languages on the Disc, Morporkian is also widely spoken for efficient trading between the two nations.
