Fortunately for Doughnut Jimmy, he had no idea who was responsible for this terminal drop in the value of his investment at the turf accountants. Samuel Vimes proposed that this happy state of affairs could continue just so long as Jimmy assisted the Watch with their enquiries. Jimmy temporarily joins the Watch in Feet of Clay.
