Is it not written: we live and learn? I had spent most of a lifetime believing that the Maquis (the French resistance of WWII) took the name from "makeup" (cosmetics) or perhaps "camouflage". I wonder where that idea came from? --Old Dickens (talk) 06:03, 16 November 2013 (GMT)
