One of the many dwarf bars in Ankh-Morpork, a place where the hard working dwarves can drink, sing songs about gold and get into a fight. the location is not specified and it is not listed in The Compleat Ankh-Morpork.
It was once asked, 'what must people think of them!' 'We think they're greedy stroppy buggers'.
The dwarves sing sad songs about the mountains and mine back home, and how they want to go back there one day. They have tools and picks on the walls and likley dwarf bread too if they can get the nails to go through. But say to them 'There are the city gates, wide open, off you go, send us a post card' they'll reply 'oh, not just yet, I've got this new workshop open and the work's really good, perhaps next year'. So while alot of dwarves talk longingly of home and like the idea that somewhere there are still dwarves mining under the mountains, they are quite happy for it not to be them. Despite elderly dwarves returning to the mountains to die, they live in Ankh-Morpork.
