A trusted informant and old friend of the Ankh-Morpork City Watch. He was killed by a falling bedstead in a freak accident 25 weeks before Leshp rose from the sea. Nobody told Sam Vimes, but he put ten dollars in the envelope when Fred Colon brought it around. Doesn't it seem strange that an otherwise unmentioned man merits the traditional Watch whip-round for a funeral, and also seems to share a history with Vimes. Strange indeed...
