Talk:Gold

And if a microwave electrical current is passed through it, gold oxidises in air to a rather fetching pure blue colour. Strange but true.

Unsure about appropriateness -- Me, I'd think the first line here fits in with the spirit of the "Gold" page. Should I import that to the page itself? If that would be *in*appropriate, then can I move the opening line about Glod to the talk page? It seems like both of these comments are good, but they either both belong on the page itself, or both on the talk page. What do others think? Moishe Rosenbaum 23:50, 24 December 2011 (CET)
I think the first is a canonical (near) quote; the note on its physical properties when subjected to Roundworld radiation is surely annotation. (We use "Dwarves" frequently, but we don't generally edit people's comments in discussion.) --Old Dickens 00:29, 25 December 2011 (CET)
Agreed. The second line doesn't even feel like annotation, but more "cool RW fact." I'll move the first line into the main article. Moishe Rosenbaum 01:58, 25 December 2011 (CET)
