Where was this "siding with the conspirators of any plot to dislodge the conditionally benevolent dictator"? Mrs Palm and the other female guild leaders have been his most consistent support in a couple of conspiracies; I don't remember a contrary example. --Old Dickens 01:46, 13 August 2009 (UTC)

Have to admit I find that comment a little dubious too, but maybe the originator was thinking of the incident in feet of clay where Mrs. Palm was one of the group who went to inspect Vimes's office based on an anonymous tip, although she seemed to realise quite rapidly she'd been set up and left without further comment 16:47, 13 August 2009 (UTC)

Also, in The Truth, she did not "abstain", she voted to adjourn.{Corgi pb p.418) The whole paragraph is smelly. --Old Dickens 00:33, 14 August 2009 (UTC)

Consistent with the theme of role reversals in Night Watch, Rosie actually provides an alternative to that other Mrs Palm(er). --Old Dickens (talk) 04:27, 5 July 2015 (UTC)
